Dream Lady
I awoke this morning and thought of you. When I looked at your photograph once again, I saw a lady so sweet and kind who loves her life and the people in it. Just to be counted as one of them would make my heart beat a little faster. Just to know you, to hear your tender voice.
But no, I am too far away and just a truck driver and you are a lady. Maybe someday we will meet, but for now, only in my dreams and there our lips will touch. I will taste your lips and feel your heart beat with mine, when I hold you close to me. As we walk hand in hand by a small brook while carrying a blanket, a bottle of wine and cheese, we find a meadow of flowers where we sit to drink the wine and eat the cheese. Sitting in the warm afternoon sun we learn more about each other. Your lips are so inviting, your eyes are soft and loving, and your voice touches me like no other. I gently touch your face and down your neck massaging softly. When I touch your ear you quiver all over. You have never been touched by a man like me.
My hands are rougher than the gentlemen you know. They are all men of means and do no hard labor. When I look into your eyes I see fear and want. You do not know if you want me to kiss you, but if I do not you will kiss me. As I continue caressing your neck, I pull you slowly to me watching your eyes go from fear to want then to need. I stop just before kissing you. You hold your breath not knowing if I am going to kiss you or just keep looking in your eyes.
Your smell fills all of my scents making my heart beat fast as I lean to kiss your lips. They are soft, warm, and sweet as honey. I have never felt anything like this before. Now I am the one that is quivering. I feel your hand on my face; your touch is soft and tenderly. The heat from it warms my soul. I know now that I am with a true lady.
Tommy
But until we meet, I send this butterfly to keep
watch over you, bring you smiles, and to remind you that you are always in my thoughts and dreams.
